Chandigarh/New Delhi, June 16: A special three-member panel of All India Congress Committee observers has opened direct talks with Punjab leaders at the national capital to resolve persistent internal differences and plan for the next assembly elections. The intensive review process is designed to bridge operational gaps between rival regional camps and establish a clear, collaborative roadmap for state workers.

The investigative process began with a closed-door briefing session involving regional members of parliament to evaluate real-time public sentiment on the ground. Over the next forty-eight hours, the panel will meet with former members of the legislative assembly and district congress committee presidents to formulate an all-inclusive restructuring plan.

Central organization representatives declared that establishing order across the district blocks remains the foremost priority for the high command. Detailing the approach of the central panel, a representative privy to the development asserted, “The panel will submit their assessment and recommendations directly to the Congress leadership to guide the party’s upcoming strategic decisions.”

The administrative exercise has triggered wide speculation regarding the future of the state executive committee and regional leadership titles. Though continuous statements from the central desk indicate a preference for maintaining the existing core leadership to prevent further friction, party insiders declared that grassroots restructuring is considered essential to improve the party’s field prospects.

The ongoing consultations have drawn the complete attention of the regional political apparatus toward the developments in New Delhi. Party functionaries maintained that the observers are specifically focusing on areas where the state unit lagged behind political rivals in recent cycles, promising that a definitive roadmap for course correction will emerge following the conclusion of the talks.
