by TheReportingTimes

Lucknow, November 2: Comprehensive educational initiatives spearheaded by the Uttar Pradesh administration are providing specialized learning environments and skill-building opportunities for differently abled children across the region.

The state currently manages 21 specialized schools operating under four dedicated umbrellas—Prayas, Sanket, Mamta, and Sparsh—each customized to address physical, auditory, intellectual, or visual needs. Official metrics indicate that 1,464 boys and girls are receiving education and training under these programs.

According to department leadership, structural upgrades have led to ISO certification for 16 institutions. The implementation of smart classrooms across upper primary and secondary levels aims to bridge technological gaps and deliver modern digital learning tools.

The government’s framework remains focused on offering accessible, needs-based instruction designed to build self-reliance and academic progression for every student.
