CHANDIGARH, June 22 — The Aam Aadmi Party has respectfully approached the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, requesting an institutional inquiry into a coordinated digital campaign targeting Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The ruling party stated that because independent forensic lab tests have verified the video as fake, the highest temporal seat should look into the political dynamics behind the controversy.
The administration declared that Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal should be summoned to clarify his public commentary regarding the video. The ruling party observed that opposition leaders appeared to possess detailed descriptions and internal details about the material before it became widely known to the general public.
AAP Punjab State Media In-charge Baltej Pannu maintained that the Chief Minister has consistently rejected the authenticity of the clip since its inception. The party stated that the temporal authority should intervene to ensure that religious platforms are not misused for factional political propaganda.
“If Sukhbir Singh Badal was saying that CM Bhagwant Singh Mann had claimed the video was AI-generated, where did this inside information come from and how did he obtain it?” Baltej Pannu declared. “The source of such information and the circumstances under which it reached him should also be examined.”
The party affirmed that all relevant scientific evidence has already been submitted to the state’s top police officials to assist in a parallel legal probe. The administration asserted that exposing the origins of the video will protect the dignity of the state’s leadership from organized political manipulation.
“The forensic examination of more than 1,100 frames has conclusively established that the person seen in the video is not the Chief Minister,” Baltej Pannu asserted. “We expect a fair and impartial investigation so that every individual associated with the creation, promotion and financing of this fake video campaign is identified.”
