Rae Bareli, Sept 11: As part of an ongoing state drive to promote self-reliance among young professionals, the ‘UP RISE: Samvaad, Sankalp, Safalta’ campaign convened at Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Rae Bareli. Over 500 students gathered to learn about entrepreneurial incentives, policy reforms, and technological avenues available under Uttar Pradesh’s startup framework.
Global Taxpayers Trust Chairman Manish Khemka declared that the state’s demographic dividend is actively shifting toward venture creation, noting that women lead 50 percent of the state’s registered startups. He added that legislative reforms and the removal of thousands of obsolete compliances have significantly improved the business environment across various industrial sectors.
Industry consultants demonstrated practical applications of artificial intelligence and emerging technological trends, urging students to utilize government support schemes like Mukhyamantri Swarozgar. The session featured competitive pitching, shortlisting 12 viable project concepts ranging from agricultural scanners to medical technology platforms.
The ‘Mobile Sahyogi Robot’ project secured first place with a 25,000 rupee cash reward, while the ‘Lab Setu’ team finished as runners-up. The outreach drive is slated to cover 30 major educational campuses across 25 districts, creating direct industry exposure and career pathways for promising student innovators.
