Security Sweeps Following Threat Calls

Precautionary holiday declared across multiple Abohar campuses

by TheReportingTimes

Abohar, July 29: Multiple private schools across Abohar suspended classes on Wednesday morning after receiving anonymous bomb threats, prompting police teams to initiate high-alert search protocols across the town.

Local law enforcement agencies responded by deploying specialized anti-sabotage squads to clear classrooms, administrative areas, and campus grounds.

“Anti-sabotage teams were immediately pressed into service and thorough searches were launched at the affected schools to rule out the presence of any explosive device,” Abohar DSP Harish Kumar declared during an interaction with news teams.

School administration authorities decided to dismiss students early as a preventive measure aimed at avoiding any potential safety hazards on campus.

Police sources maintained that comprehensive digital and technical investigations remain underway, even as initial reports point toward a potential hoax attempt.
