Lucknow, Sept 12: A major financial grant of Rs 6.55 crore has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Government to upgrade digital monitoring systems and child tracking frameworks in state-run Parishadiya schools. Official directives confirm that the funds will support the effective execution of U-DISE Plus data collection alongside targeted child tracking measures for the 2026-27 academic session.
The administrative breakdown designates Rs 2.62 crore for MIS data management and Rs 3.93 crore toward strengthening the Child Tracking System. State project leadership stated that School Management Committees will oversee expenditures at the institutional level, focusing on coordinating student records with national APAAR identification metrics to track attendance, learning outcomes, and progression seamlessly.
Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh asserted that strengthening digital monitoring tools provides fresh momentum toward structured school management across Uttar Pradesh. Director General of School Education Monica Rani maintained that district officers must ensure regular portal-based reviews of expenditure, affirming that systematic integration of student data remains central to the state’s educational governance goals.
