HISAR, SEPT 12: A total of 1,439 candidates will appear for the UPSC NDA and NA-II examination in Hisar this Sunday, marking the inaugural conduct of the national-level test in the district. Authorities stated that the schedule spans two shifts, with entry gates opening two hours prior to the morning session to allow smooth processing before the 10 am start time.
Exam nodal officer Dr. Subhash Chandra asserted that security will involve police checks alongside an automated face-recognition protocol. Scanning the barcode printed on each roll number will bring up candidate records, comparing a freshly taken photo with official files. In cases where the system flags a mismatch, officers will conduct a manual check so legitimate aspirants can sit for the test.
Deputy Commissioner Mahender Pal announced preventive measures under Section 163 of BNSS, 2023, restricting gatherings within 200 metres of the five selected venues across Hisar. Commercial establishments providing printing and photocopying services within these zones will remain closed between 9 am and 6 pm, while local educational operations such as assignment submissions at the government college IGNOU centre will pause until testing concludes.
